1. Package Content

The package includes a 5G outdoor router, Ethernet cables, a PoE adapter, mounting kits and waterproof kits for the outdoor router and user guides.

  • Power Adapter

A round block with a three-prong plug on one end that plugs into your PoE adapter to power it up.

  • PoE Adapter

The PoE adapter has a cuboid shape and detachable mounting bracket. There is a triangular plug on one end. On the other end, there is a PoE port and a LAN port. The LAN port and the plug correspond and locate on the same side.

  • Ethernet Cable

The Ethernet cable is a smooth cord with a slightly stiff feel. It has a rectangular plastic connector at each end, with a small lever-like clip on top. To use it, align the connector with the Ethernet port on your device and push it in until you hear or feel a click. The clip helps secure the connection; you can press it down to remove the cable when needed.

  • Mounting Kits for Outdoor Routers

The mounting kits include a hose clamp, a mounting bracket, plastic wall anchors and self tapping screws:

The hose clamp is an adjustable metal strap that securely attaches your outdoor router to poles by wrapping around them.

The mounting bracket is rectangle with screw holes or slots that is used to attach your outdoor router securely to a wall.

Plastic wall anchors are cylindrical, hollow plastic inserts designed to be embedded in a wall to provide a secure base for screws or bolts.

Self-tapping screws are threaded screws used to drive into the wall for mounting your outdoor routers.

  • Waterproof Kits for Outdoor Routers

The waterproof kits include a spiral cover, a seal, a bracket and a ring:

The spiral cover is plastic, similar to a circular truncated cone but is hollow.

The seal is rubber, similar to a cylinder but with a flat slot for Ethernet cable.

The bracket is similar to the spiral cover, but larger and serrated.

The ring is a plastic circle.

2. Appearance

The outdoor router has a tall, rectangular shape with two vertical side panels that taper slightly towards the top. On the bottom panel, there is an Ethernet port, a protruding grounding terminal and a reset hole.

Place your outdoor router on a flat surface with the grounding terminal to the right of the Ethernet port. Now the outdoor router is facing up and the nano SIM card slot locate to the right side of the router.

  • Ethernet Port

Connect the square Ethernet port to the PoE port on the PoE adapter via an RJ45 cable to power the router.

The protruding square metal terminal is used for Electrostatic Discharge and lightning protection. Put the grounding wire with ring terminal to the grounding terminal, then fasten the wire to the grounding terminal with a screw.

  • Reset Button

The reset button is a small round hole to the left of the Ethernet port. To reset the router to factory default settings, use a pin to press and hold for at least 5 seconds and release. Then wait about 2 minutes for it to restart.

  • SIM Card Slot

An oval card slot with a rectangle cover, for inserting the Nano SIM Card. When inserting the card, first remove the slot cover with a Plipps screwdriver. Then put the golden contacts down and the notched corner towards the upper left corner. Next face the card slot, insert the card until you hear or feel a click, and replace the slot cover.

  • Device Label

The product label is at the back of the outdoor router. The default password, MAC address of your router, and a QR code for scanning to connect to your router’s Bluetooth are provided on the label.
