Can’t Find or Connect to 6GHz Wi-Fi?

Troubleshooting

Q1. Which Devices Support 6GHz Wireless Signal?

Wi-Fi 6E is hardware-dependent. Client devices manufactured before 2020 likely don't support 6GHz Wi-Fi. For client devices that support WiFi 6E, support is handled at the chipset level. As in the PC market, it's supported by the Intel AX210 wireless network adapter; for Mobile Phones, it's usually supported by the Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets, which means most new high-end Android phones support it.

Below is some common wireless client devices that support 6GHz radio :

Note: Your device includes Wi-Fi 6E-capable hardware but might not support Wi-Fi 6E because regulators in some regions have not approved the 6 GHz band. We suggest you consult your client device manufacturer to confirm whether your client device supports 6 GHz Wi-Fi.
